Conference focus areas:

— theoretical and methodological grounds of local history;

— historiography and source studies of local history;

— regional dimension of archaeological research;

— material and spiritual culture through the prism of regional studies;

— importance of archives, museums and libraries in regional studies;

— role of personality in regional history;

— art history and literary studies in the regional dimension;

— local lore as a social movement: experience and prospects;

— regional studies in secondary and high school: problems of theory and practice;

— religion and church in the mirror of local history;

— actual problems of medical local studies;

— local history in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University: past and present.
