Conference of Karazin University Employees


V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has held the Conference of Employees in an online format. During the event, in particular, the report of the University President, Vil Bakirov, on the work of the University in 2020 was considered.

The Presidium comprised the University President, Vil Bakirov; Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Anatolii Holtvianskyi; Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Students, Daria Bortnykova; Academic Secretary of the University, Natalia Vinnikova; Dean of the School of Philology, Yurii Bezkhutryi, who chaired the Conference.

In his report on the work of the University in 2020, presented for the employees’ consideration, Vil Bakirov focused on many aspects of the University’s activity.

"In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, a large amount of work has been done to reformat the educational process, research work, accelerate the transition to distance and blended learning technology, prevent the spread of coronavirus diseases among the University students and staff," said the President.

The Conference also addressed issues related to the approval of the Academic Board composition, the Regulations on the Student Council of the University, amendments to the Collective Agreement between the University administration and employees, implementation of the Comprehensive Measures for Occupational Safety and Health in 2020 and approval of the Comprehensive Measures for Occupational Safety and Health for 2021.

During December 24-30, 2020, the delegates got acquainted with the working materials of the Conference and made their proposals. At the suggestion of the Conference Chairman, Yurii Bezkhutryi, those present voted for the decisions of the Conference. The Chairman noted that the decisions of the Conference of the University Employees were approved by a majority of the delegates, the agenda was exhausted, the Conference ended, and he wished everyone a Happy New Year.

Vil Bakirov thanked all the delegates for their active participation in the Conference: “Dear delegates of the Conference of the University Employees! Thank you all for your participation, valuable suggestions, comments, and ideas. In the new year, by our joint efforts we will overcome all difficulties and problems and ensure stable and confident development of Karazin University. On the eve of the New Year 2021, we wish you good health, inexhaustible creative energy, fulfillment of everything planned and desired."
