Karazin University Among Winners of Capacity Building in Higher Education Competition under the EU Erasmus+ Program

According to the results of the annual competition of the European Union Erasmus+ program, dedicated to capacity building in the field of higher education, among the winners are two projects with the participation of Karazin University — “Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students” (INTERADIS) and “Integration of Dual Higher Education in Moldova” (COOPERA).

The purpose of the INTERADIS project “Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students” is the integration of international students into the cultural, ethnic, social environment of Ukraine and the European Union, advanced training of academic staff in the specifics of work with foreign students, potential development of international offices, improvement of the quality of administrative services.

Project duration: November 15, 2020 — November 14, 2023.

Project coordinator: Netherlands Business Academy (Netherlands).

Project co-coordinator: KROK University (Ukraine).

The COOPERA project “Integration of Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine” aims to identify the needs and specific requirements of companies in various industries and businesses for dual higher education; to search for companies willing to participate in pilot implementations of dual higher education during the project; to develop flexible and universal dual higher education model (DHEM) to support different needs and interests of employers, higher education institutions and students in various industries and businesses; to provide recommendations to higher education institutions for the implementation of dual higher education; to test specific DHE models based on the developed general DHEM; pilot implementations during the project and analysis of the results achieved; to suggest changes to legislation and regulations to adapt dual higher education in  partner countries.

Project duration: January 15, 2021 — January 14, 2024.
