For reference. Coursera is an educational technology company founded by Stanford University computer science professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller. Since its founding, the Coursera team has collaborated with 170 top universities of the world. Its academic programs help students not only during studying at higher education institutions, but also after graduation. Coursera is also a great opportunity for young specialists to improve their professional skills and feel more confident in the job market. In case of successful completion of the offered courses, the user receives a certificate of completion from the company.
Coursera provides an opportunity to integrate its existing courses into university curricula. Instructors can also experiment and publish private lessons, courses, assessments, and hands-on projects accessible only to their students and graduates. In addition, the resource provides access to educational analytics that helps understand the level of students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills.
