Project “Quarantine 2020: Kharkiv Experience”: Call for Participation

The University History Museum invites everyone interested to participate in the project “Quarantine 2020: Kharkiv Experience”.

The purpose of the project is to create a unique collection of materials reflecting the life experience of people during quarantine: photos, audios and videos, things, posts on social networks, search / watch history, etc.

All collected artifacts will be kept in Karazin University History Museum and also will be included in exhibitions and interactive panels content of the History Museum.

First of all, we invite Kharkiv residents to participate in the project. However, we are glad to welcome people from other cities and regions of Ukraine and foreign citizens who have lived in Ukraine during quarantine.

In addition to collecting materials, researchers of the University History Museum are going to arrange a research project that will focus on rethinking people’s experiences during quarantine, in particular defining their values, life and cultural practices, studying mechanisms and forms of adaptation to new lifestyle. Please fill out the form (in Ukrainian or English) to participate.

The participant chooses a questionnaire and language (Ukrainian, Russian, English) to answer questions.

Please send the materials (photos, audios, videos, things, posts on social networks, search / watch history, etc.) to the e-mail address of Karazin University History Museum museum_history@karazin.ua

By agreeing to participate in the survey and sending the materials, you consent to their further public use and inclusion in the collections of Karazin University History Museum. The data you provide and your authorship will be preserved. If you are against such use or have any questions, please contact us.
