University Student, Tennis Player Maryna Chernyshova Wins the Zagreb Ladies Open


In the final of the Zagreb Ladies Open tournament of the ITF World Tennis Tour in Zagreb (Croatia), the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business student Maryna Chernyshova defeated the Hungarian athlete Réka Luca Jani 6-1, 6-4. Maryna won the tournament of this level for the first time. This gave her 103 points and significantly improved her position in the world rankings, where she currently ranks 280th, which is the best result in her career.

This is the third title of the Karazin University student this season, and overall this is her ninth victory in the tournaments among professional tennis players.
