Karazin University Sports Life: Take Advantage of Unlimited Access for Students


Karazin University pays great attention to its students’ sports and wellness activities. Throughout the course of study, Karazinites have free access to aerobics, basketball, volleyball, boxing, table tennis and badminton, tennis, football and futsal, water tourism, powerlifting, archery, climbing, taekwondo, kickboxing, chess, fencing, cheer-leading, gym classes. Students choose a sport according to their own preferences.

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University annually holds student sports competitions. In particular, the University Spartakiad in twelve kinds of sports, the Student Trade Union Cup competitions, the University President Cup Tournament in Futsal, the University Freshmen Championship. There are sports clubs for athletic students.

Karazin University athletes and teams take part in regional, all-Ukrainian, international student competitions, championships of Ukraine, Europe and the world, the Olympic and Paralympic games.

Karazin University invites students to improve their physical fitness, health and sports skills, using its sports facilities. The timetable of classes is available on the website of the Department of Physical Training and Sports.
