International Research Conference “Fiction Phenomena in History of World Literature: Transition of Language into Authorship”


Karazin University is pleased to invite everyone interested to participate in the IV International Research Conference “Fiction Phenomena in History of World Literature: Transition of Language into Authorship” to be held at Karazin University on April 6-7, 2018.

The participants of the conference will discuss the prospects for overcoming the boundaries of cultural and ethnic differences, the study of civilizational principles in literature, the formation of cosmopolitan “standards” for peaceful coexistence of young people.

Organizer: Department of Romance Philology and Translation of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Conference focus areas:

  • Literature studies. Post-colonial strategies.
  • Linguistics. Mechanisms of ideological type in the text.
  • Methodology. The idea of tolerant attitude to different cultures in the process of teaching language and literature.

Conference working languages: Ukrainian, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, German, English.
