The Atlantic Council Events

Karazin University is pleased to invite students of the School of History, the School of Sociology, the School of Law, the School of International Economic Relations and Travel Business, Karazin Business School to attend the events organized by the Atlantic Council. The participants of the events will be the former U. S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Director of Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council, John Herbst, the former U. S. Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Popadiuk, the former U. S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia, Evelyn Farkas, the top expert on economic policy in Eastern Europe, especially Russia and Ukraine, Anders Aslund, the Director of the UkraineInvest Investment Promotion Office, Chief Investment Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Daniel Bilak.

Discussion on Ukraine’s economy, energy independence and security, prospects for investment in Kharkiv region and U. S.-Ukrainian partnership.

The event will bring together top experts, practitioners and policymakers to discuss the current investment climate in Kharkiv region, energy independence and security, the future of the U. S.-Ukrainian relations, as well as the most effective means for the security of Ukraine moving forward.

Panel discussion “Security in Ukraine and the role of the United States” on the U. S.-Ukrainian relations and transatlantic aspirations.

Venue: room 7-47, 7th floor, University Main Building, 4 Svobody Sq

Experts and former policymakers will discuss the future of the U. S.-Ukrainian relations, prospects for bilateral cooperation and future challenges.
